Building mindful nutritional habits, together

We set out to address the challenge faced by millennials in New York City trying to develop mindful nutrition habits.
We joined forces over our passion for healthy living and a deeply rooted belief that nature is the best medicine for the mind, body, and soul. Our brief for this project emerged as a result of utilizing the design-thinking process to better understand our stakeholders, synthesizing insights and revealing a number of challenges hindering people from achieving their nutritional goals.

We distilled the problem into the following 3 main areas:
- Habitual change can be overwhelming
- A solo journey of change is not sustainable. It lacks accountability, and is easier to discard or forget
- Credible and trusted sources are critical to seeking information regarding nutrition

In that, we saw an opportunity and developed a digital app-based solution that empowers people by:
- Breaking down change into small achievable steps
- Providing a supportive community of friends and peers for motivation, camaraderie, and accountability
- Forging partnerships to make available credible bite-sized content from subject-matter experts
